“The deeper message is her evolution as a human being and her expression of herself from the universe to the instrument. It's an immersion and universal experience and she is taking everyone else along for the ride.”

Growing up, music was always a foundation of my life. Listening to salsa, son, boleros, mariachi, R&B, middle eastern music and of course flamenco, my environment would lead me to learn 2 Peruvian instruments by the age of 7 - the charango and zampoña. Soon after, my journey with the guitar began.

I graduated from a prestigious conservatory arts high school, giving me meaningful training in many genres of music. I felt profoundly drawn to Flamenco and its art form that it led me to travel to Madrid, Spain to study with the acclaimed Jose “El Viejin” Jimenez, who toured with Paco de Lucia in the 1990’s.

My passions reach beyond music, including nature and its teachings, staying active through movement, human and planetary health, art in all forms, and a zeal to learn new things.

My journey with Flamenco has been transformational, allowing me to unlock different parts of my self.

Female Flamenco guitarists are a rare find, but the community seems to be growing little by little. I am honored to be among the women in this pivotal cultural paradigm shift.
